Report “Analysis of prices, tariffs and retail electricity markets competitive relations development in the Russian Federation in 2009-2010” is released
The EFA’s Direction on pricing and economics in electric power industry prepared a study titled "Analysis of prices, tariffs and retail electricity markets competitive relations development in the Russian Federation in 2009-2010”.
The report provides information about major qualitative and cost parameters of the retail electricity markets for the period of 2009-2010, analysis of prevailing volumes and prices of electricity delivery to consumers by regions of the Russian Federation, consumer debts, retail electricity markets competitive situation. A comparison study of electricity price levels for consumers in Western Europe, the United States and the Russian Federation was performed.
The report can be of interest to employees of State government and administrative bodies, business structures, representatives of energy companies, consultants and research groups.
This work can be useful in making an assessment of emerging trends and prospects for the development of the retail electricity markets of the Russian Federation.
